Question: Are you a Christian website?
Answer: Yes we are a Christian website and we have created NeedSharing.org to glorify God and help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through service to those in need.

Question: Do I have to be a Chrisitian to submit a need or to help someone in need?
Answer: No you do not have to be a Christian to use NeedSharing.org. We encourage anyone and everyone from around the world to use NeedSharing.org.

Question: What does “NeedSharing” mean?
Answer: Just like filesharing revolutionized the spread and use of media on the internet we wanted to revolutionize giving to those in need, so needsharing was born. We have developed people to people need sharing!

Question: How much does it cost to use NeedSharing.org?
Answer: NeedSharing.org is 100% FREE! We are supported by the generous donations of people like yourself want to continue the mission of NeedSharing.org.

Question: Who supports NeedSharing.org?
Answer: NeedSharing.org is supported by our founders and by the grace of God. We always thankfully welcome donations from anyone who wants to support NeedSharing.org.

Question: Can I donate money to NeedSharing.org?
Answer: Yes you can. We will use the money wisely to cover any costs associated with running the website and donate the remainder to needs that are on the website. Your donations are tax deductible because we are a non-profit and filed as a 501( c )(3) with the US government.

Question: Are my gifts to people on the website tax deductible?
Answer: Unfortunately no they are not although we faithfully believe that God blesses those who help others regardless of what is gained in return. Just as the Holy Bible states: “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:3-4 E.S.V.

Question: How can I help spread the word about NeedSharing.org?
Answer: The best way to spread the word is through word of mouth. Tell, Call, Mail or Email your friends, put a link to us on your BLOG, website, or any other place you can. If you go to Church, tell your Church about us! If you have access to the media or other press contacts let them know about us. Thank you, we really appreciate all the help you can give!

Question: Do you review every need before it is posted and how do I know if a need is a legitimate need?
Answer: No, we do not review every need prior to it’s posting. We believe in God’s authority and judgement over those who may try to misuse the NeedSharing.org website. If you come across a need that you feel is inappropriate, please let us know immediately by sending and email to abuse@needsharing.org.
